How Jet To Cabo works

You browse Cabo empty legs and their listed prices for free. Membership is $1,000 a year, with your first 30 days free. When you request a flight, we connect you with the operator by email, and you book and pay them directly.

1. Find your flight

The list and map show the route, date, aircraft and listed price. You do not need an account. A flight with no posted price shows price on request. For a sense of the wider market, see what a private jet to Cabo costs.

2. Sign up free

Sign up now and your first 30 days are free. We ask for a card, and you can cancel penalty free any time before day 30. Otherwise $1,000 is charged on day 30.

3. Connect with the operator

Tap Inquire on the flight you want. We check that you are a member, then email the operator with you copied, giving the route, date, listed price, passenger count and your contact details. If you are not a member yet, we send you the link to sign up.

The operator sends you their quote and any restrictions. You book, sign the contract and pay the operator directly. If the operator doesn't answer, we follow up with them once.

What you are buying when you buy an empty leg

An empty leg is an aircraft's repositioning flight that the operator offers for sale. It is one way, on the operator's date and route, for the whole aircraft. That is the trade: a set route and date in place of a trip built around you, and a flight that can change if the operator's other trip changes.

Questions

Do I get the whole airplane?

Yes. An empty leg is a whole-aircraft charter. You are not buying a seat, and the airplane is not shared with strangers.

Is the listed price the final price?

Treat it as the starting point. Before you sign, ask the operator for one total in writing that includes every tax and fee, including any Mexican charges.

Who do I pay for the flight?

The operator, under your contract with them. Your membership fee is separate and does not cover flights.

What about getting home?

Most flights here are one way, so plan the other direction separately. It may be another listed flight, a charter or an airline ticket. Keep a backup, because an empty leg can move or cancel.

What if the flight cancels the day before?

It can happen, because an empty leg depends on the operator's other trip. Get the operator's cancellation, refund and backup terms in writing before you pay them. Do not build a wedding or a meeting around a single empty leg.

Will four people with bags and golf clubs fit?

It depends on the aircraft and the payload on the day. Tell the operator your passenger count and bags, and ask them to confirm it in writing.

Can I find a flight on a specific date, like a school break?

Only if one is listed. Empty legs follow the operator's schedule, not yours, so dates cannot be requested. The list changes as operators post flights.

Can my assistant handle this?

Yes. An assistant can send the inquiry and be copied on the email. Tell us when you inquire.

Where do I show up on the day?

The operator tells you the airport, private terminal and departure details. Those come from them, not from us.
